15.2. BASIC GYM MARKETING CONCEPTS
LECTURE
The term "marketing" means all the required processes, actions and steps that a natural or legal person applies from the conception of an idea to its final implementation and its offering to the consumer public and is intended to be studied, implemented, promoting, delivering mainly services and materials in the best possible way to serve those expectations, but also having the desired effect on consumers. More specifically, fitness marketing is all the actions - tactics - strategies used by the fitness center as a legal entity to disclose the services it offers to the consumer, e.g. direct and indirect advertising. When these have entered a hierarchical set of implementation steps, then marketing is defined as "strategic marketing".
The broader meaning of marketing includes market research and evaluation, setting feasible goals, economic and tax environment analysis, advertising, pricing, selling, communication, operatingor process, training and continuing education, social media and the whole process strategy.
Marketing and Sales are always complementary, complementing each other and enhancing achievement goals.
