PERIODICITY AND CATEGORIZATION OF EXERCISES OF ATHLETES

As with the training of professional racing athletes, annual training is governed by the principle of periodicity and is divided into three general phases, namely pre-competition, competitive and transitional. Exercises used in athletic training are classified into three basic categories (general, special and racing) and are aimed at both general fitness and fitness, with the aim of always improving athletic performance / performance in a particular sport or sport. Prior to joining a race, precede the ... formatting.

CLASSIFICATION OF EXERCISES

  1. General exercises: Not directly related to racing movement / technique, they neither agree on dynamic characteristics nor on kinetic characteristics with racing movement. They help improve performance and overall fit. Made with or without instruments, they are mainly applied to the general preparation period. In the racing season they only serve to stabilize the general level of fitness.
  2. Special Exercises: They are generally mimic exercises of individual elements of the technique, either in terms of muscle participation, or in terms of dynamic and kinetic characteristics, so they differ from the technical movements mainly in the intensity and duration of the load.
  3. Racing Exercises: They are total movements - and not individual ones - identical in kinetic characteristics to the technique of movements applied in the race and identical or almost identical in dynamic characteristics. They can work in more difficult or easier terms, depending on what we want to achieve, e.g. movement strength or speed improvement or resistance to speed.
