7.1. TRAINING WITH HEAVY ROPES
LECTURE
Heavy, long and thick ropes (heavy ropes or ropes gone wild or, more commonly, battle ropes) are one of the most useful training tools and equipment necessary for Cross Fit / Cross Training. They are also used by top athletes of various sports to overall improve their fitness and maximize their racing performance.
During training, either two heavy ropes can be used together or, more commonly, a rope that is folded around an anchor point and the trainee holds the two ends of the rope, one on each palm.
