INTRODUCTION 2
THEORETICAL - PRACTICE
Aim: The purpose of this course is to familiarize you with all the steps / procedures for designing personal training programs and applying them.
Learning Outcomes: By completing the training module you will be able to make measurements and assessments of the trainee's body and physical condition, understand and analyze their results, and use them to design personalized training workouts.
VERY IMPORTANT
Before any systematic physical activity, it is absolutely necessary to have a medical opinion for each trainee and in addition to it, to assess the suitability of the trainee for physical activity by means of a personal interview using/completing a special questionnaire, indicating, defining and assessing the general state of his/her health.
The professional trainer must get a full history of the prospective trainee and make a first assessment of whether he/she can work out and how. In the event of even a faint doubt or no medical opinion, the trainee candidate should be referred for medical examinations.
The assessment of suitability for exercise should be carried out both in people who first express the desire to work out and in those who are already working out, at least once a year.
