Aim: The purpose of this module is to introduce the concepts of "functionality", "functional performance" and "functional training". These concepts are closely linked to health, wellness, efficiency, quality of life and ultimately to "personal training" and its goals. For this reason, and this is highlighted in all tones, there is no training session in personal training that is not functional. If it is not functional then it is not personal, let alone personalized. Learning Outcomes: By completing the course in this module you will be able to evaluate each trainee's particular physical needs, select and teach correctly and safely basic weight-based functional exercises, and design effective workout modules (personal and small group training) in different ways and targeting to different goals.
