WUNDA CHAIR
It is perhaps the most adaptive and "demanding" of all classical Pilates instruments: despite the apparent simplicity of the structure and its relatively small size compared to other instruments, it provides the ability to perform a wide variety of exercises for beginners - intermediate - advanced, with greater resistance, and from various positions on it (lying position, seated, standing, positions to the sides of the chair, etc.).
Traditionally, Pilates chairs were made of wood, with padding on top and pedals. In fact, the original chairs inspired and designed by J. Pilates could be used not only for exercise but also as seats.
It is, essentially, a "box" consisting of a seat, springs connected by a large pedal and two handles, left and right, which are adjusted according to the height of the trainee. Sometimes the pedal is divided into two parts, which can be operated independently.
